1. The image is drawn onto tracing paper or
mylar with a mechanical pencil on a light table. |

2. The drawing is placed on a printing plate,
in a vacuum table. Once there is firm contact between the drawing and
plate, the bulbs expose the drawing to the plate. |

4. Black
ink is rolled onto a glass slab. The image is wet with a sponge. |

5. The wet plate is rolled with ink, then
re-wet and rolled 2-3 more times to make
the image dark or "up full." |

A sheet of plastic is put on top of the paper and plate. Together they are
