Lake Champlain Vista

This image is a composite of many pastels that I have made from the Mt. Philo Inn in Charlotte, Vermont. It is a beautiful view of Lake Champlain as well as the Adirondacks in NY State across the lake. This image took much painstaking cutting of each block ( one block for blue, 2 green blocks, one purple, one block for the sky and barn as well as a key block which is the dark blue textural block). After many color versions I came up with this color combination. It felt like the culmination of many things I have learned over many years of printmaking.
